Ceramics for the home

The designs in these pieces are neither painted nor applied – they come from the material itself.

I combine different colors of natural clay using the Japanese nerikomi technique, creating swirls, veins, and layers reminiscent of marble, agate, wood grain, or the geology of an ancient rock.

Each is unique — the pattern can never be reproduced exactly. The earring pairs are complementary, but each earring is unique.

All of the dishes are food safe (unglazed pieces have been sealed). They also can be used on a table, dresser, or shelf to hold keys, jewelry, candles, or simply exist for the beauty of its surface.
